About Us
In 1973, Employers
Association of South Carolina (EASC) was established and began a commitment to
quality service for South Carolina's employers. Since then, EASC has generated
countless resources designed to inform, advocate, and foster overall good
working relationships between employers and their employees.
As the
only organization in the state of South Carolina concentrating in the
distinctive areas of employer/employee relations regulated by state and federal
law, EASC provides a valuable service to companies of all sizes. Our membership
reflects a broad and diverse group of employers, either based in South Carolina
or having facilities within the state. All major industry areas are represented
in our membership including, but not limited to, manufacturing, utilities,
banking, insurance, construction, and health care.
EASC Staff
Keith Finley, SPHR
Keith is CEO of EASC. He has more than 46 years
of experience as a human resources executive at the plant and corporate level.
He has extensive knowledge of human resources services such as HR policies and
handbooks, facility start up and staffing, and performance management systems,
including compensation, performance evaluation, position descriptions, fringe
benefits, organization development and state/federal employment law
application.
Dick Farmer, SPHR
Dick is President of EASC. He has more than 35 years of experience as a Human Resources professional and executive at the plant and corporate level. He is skilled as an HR Generalist, in labor relations, at Organizational Development, and Compensation and Benefits. He has managed at all levels of Human Resources with experience in several different industries. Dick is an experienced trainer with an engaging and effective training and speaking style. He has facility start-up experience and has managed in both union and non-union plants. He has negotiated union contracts successfully and has been instrumental in leading other employers in maintaining non-union status with a pro-active employee relations process. Dick has an undergraduate degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Personnel and Industrial Relations. He is a four year veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Wendell M. Patton, III Director of Member Services with EASC, Wendell has over 40 years of experience. Wendell is versatile, energetic Human Resources and Training professional. He has strong interpersonal skills with experience and expertise in all areas of Human Resources, Safety and Health, and Management Development and Organizational Change. He has managed a successful consulting business with a variety of clients across industry lines. He is a graduate of High Point University, High Point, North Carolina, with a degree in Psychology.
EASC Regional Directors
John
Setzer John is Director of the Pee Dee EASC region. He has more than
40 years human resources experience spanning plant, corporate, and
international levels. His expertise includes compensation/salary administration
and all generalist areas. John's many years of experience and in depth
knowledge of HR Departments affords his clients excellent HR Department Audits.
